Bike Kitchen Maintenance Clinic & Helmet Decorating at Truckee Library

Bring your bike for a bike kitchen pop-up event and bring your helmet for some style maintenance!

- Get help with basic bike repairs, and learn some repair skills along the way! Mechanics from the Lake Tahoe Bicycle Coalition will help with simple repairs, including flat tires, crooked wheels, brakes and shifting that is out of whack, stuck or squeaky chains, seat and height adjustments, etc. Tools and parts provided. Plus, help fix up donation bikes while learning tune and repair skills. Mechanics will be on site on Thursday, June 11, from 3:00 – 5:00 pm.
 

Along with the Bike Kitchen maintenance event, there will be fun helmet decorating for kids and kids at heart! Bring your helmet to the Truckee Library for their Summer Learning Program Kick-Off Party where the Truckee Roundhouse will be hosting bike-helmet decorating! The event will also have face painting, live music, and popsicles. The party is happening Thursday, June 11, from 3:00 - 5:00 pm.
